Abstract

A drive unit comprising: a hub housing at a wheel, a first motor comprising: a first active body configured to generate a first electromagnetic field for generating a relative rotation between the first reactive body and the first active body around a longitudinal axis of the motor; wherein the first active body is arranged radially outward of the first reactive body, the first active body is fixed to the hub housing, wherein the hub housing and the first active body rotate together at a housing rotation speed when the first active body generates the first electromagnetic field.
