Abstract

A method and system for accessing a web application (120₁) accessible through a web interface, comprises requesting by, and granting to a User device (136) access to the web application (120₁), creating by a Bastion orchestrator (160) upon request from the Infrastructure system (150), a HTTPS Bastion (103₁), sending by the User device (136) a request to an Application router (102), and routing by the Application router (102) the request to the HTTPS Bastion (103₁), rewriting the request by the HTTPS Bastion (103₁) into a rewritten request, and sending the rewritten request to the web application (120₁), receiving by the HTTPS Bastion (103₁) a response from the web application (120₁), rewriting the response by the HTTPS Bastion (103₁) into a rewritten response, sending the rewritten response to the Application router (102), and routing by the Application router (102) the rewritten response to the User device (136).
