Abstract

An image forming apparatus includes: an image reader (161) configured to acquire a read image (40;41;43) by reading an image of a printed material; an inspection determination section configured to determine inspection (55) by comparing the read image read by the image reader with a correct image; a first post-inspection processing section (51) configured to perform a first post-inspection processing on a first inspection error in a first area (4011;4021;4111;4121;4311;4321) of the read image; and a second post-inspection processing section (52) configured to perform a second post-inspection processing different from the first post-inspection processing on a second inspection error in a second area (4012;4022;4112;4122;4312;4322) of the read image.
