Abstract
A conversion device includes conversion elements respectively having avalanche photodiodes that receive light corresponding to respective colors of a plurality of color filters, and counters that count and output the number of output signals from the avalanche photodiodes. Recharge cycles of the avalanche photodiodes corresponding to the respective colors are made different for each color.
