Abstract

Provided are a method for wireless communication, and a device. The method comprises: if a first condition is satisfied, a terminal device communicating with a network device on the basis of a first model, wherein the first condition comprises the terminal device not being configured or indicated with model information, and/or, a first timer expiring, and the first timer is associated with a time at which the terminal device communicates with the network device on the basis of a second model. In the embodiments of the present application, when a terminal device cannot determine model information that is used, or cannot acquire model information suitable for the current scenario in a timely manner, if a first condition is satisfied, a model (e.g., a first model) that has a better generalization capability and can operate in various deployment scenarios is used to perform communication, thereby facilitating an improvement in the system performance.
