Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a service area division method, apparatus and system, a radio access network (RAN), a user equipment, a processor readable storage medium and a computer program product. The method comprises: determining an area to be processed; on the basis of a service area division policy, performing area division on the area to be processed, so as to obtain a plurality of divided service areas, wherein the service area division policy is pre-configured by a target division granularity, that matches area features of the area to be processed, in distributed nodes in a distributed network architecture, the RAN, the user equipment, or an activity range of the user equipment; and constructing a service area list on the basis of area information of the plurality of service areas, wherein the service area list is used for being sent to the user equipment to pre-configure service areas for the user equipment.
