Abstract

A terminal according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes: a control section that decides a control channel element (CCE) index corresponding to a candidate for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) using multiple layers, based on a first derivation method related to the CCE index, the first derivation method being different from a second derivation method related to a CCE index corresponding to a candidate for a PDCCH using one layer; and a receiving section that monitors the PDCCH using the multiple layers, based on the CCE index. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, resource efficiency can be improved.
