Provided are an information reporting method, an information receiving method, a communication node, and a storage medium. The information reporting method includes receiving a discard timer of a packet data unit (PDU) or a PDU set; and reporting buffer delay time information of the PDU or the PDU set via a medium access control-control element (MAC-CE) according to the discard timer.
