Abstract
There is provided methods and devices arranged for the controlling media access in a wireless network. The wireless network may comprise a first device allowing a pre-emption of part of a reservation it holds. A second device may send a request to use the pre-emption. In a message, the first device sends, there is a duration in which the pre-emption is allowed. Upon expiry or the receipt of a message indicating that the second device has finished with the pre-emption, the first device may access the wireless medium.
