Abstract
The invention refers to a microwave oven (1), comprising an oven cavity (4) for receiving cooking goods, a magnetron (6) for emitting microwaves, a waveguide (8) for guiding the microwaves from the magnetron (6) to the oven cavity (4), the waveguide (8) having a deformable portion (20), and an actuation device (24) comprising an actuator (26) connected to the deformable portion (20) for transmission of a deformation force to the deformable portion (20). The deformable portion (20) comprises a metallic surface that is closed with respect for microwaves.
