Abstract

Generating a desired position for a first vehicle from a next position of an implement attached to the first vehicle is described. A current position of the implement is obtained. The next position of the implement is identified. A desired position of the first vehicle is derived from the next position of the implement. The desired position and the next position are such that when the first vehicle is at the desired position, the implement is at the next position. The next position of the implement may be based on a position of a second vehicle. In an example, the first vehicle may be a tractor, the implement may be a grain cart, and the second vehicle may be a combine harvester.
