Abstract

A personal care apparatus comprising a body contacting portion and a handle assembly coupling portion. The body contacting portion is able to rotate with respect to the handle assembly coupling portion, as the handle assembly coupling portion moves over a surface of a housing of the body contacting portion. The center of this rotation, i.e., the effective pivot point of the body contacting portion, lies near a first plane. The first plane is defined as a plane in which three body contacting elements of the body contacting portion lie.
