Abstract

The disclosure relates to a web-shaped absorbent material (1) for a dispenser (100), the web-shaped absorbent material (1) having a longitudinal extension along a longitudinal direction (L) and a transverse extension along a transverse direction (W) being perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (L),wherein the web-shaped absorbent material (1) has a first stretch capacity (MDstr) in the longitudinal direction (L) and a second stretch capacity (CDstr) in the transverse direction (W), and wherein a stretch ratio between the first stretch capacity (MDstr) and the second stretch capacity (CDstr) is in a range of 3.0-4.0. The disclosure also relates to a roll (10) and to a dispenser (100).
