Abstract

Provided is a dish washer including a blind module capable of covering an opening of a door that is opened as a pop-up handle moves to an extended position, thereby preventing an inner space of the door from being contaminated by foreign substances that may be introduced through the opening of the door, preventing a malfunction and a damage to a driver resulted from the introduction of the foreign substances, and preventing aesthetic sensibility perceived by a user from being deteriorated by blocking observation of the inner space of the door. For this, the dish washer (1) comprises a tub (20) defining therein a washing space (21) having an open front surface; a door (30) configured to open and close the open front surface of the tub (20); a handle (31) configured to move back and forth between an extended position where the handle (31) protrudes frontwards from the door (30) and a retracted position where the handle is at least partially accommodated in the door (30); a handle driver (35) disposed inside the door (30) and configured to move the handle (31) from the retracted position toward the extended position or from the extended position toward the retracted position; and a blind module (37) configured to cover an opening (30e) defined through the door (30) to allow the handle (31) to pass therethrough when the handle (31) has moved to the extended position, wherein the blind module (37) is configured to cover the opening (30e) while moving frontwards in association with the movement of the handle (31).
