Abstract

An eye drop platform for delivering active ingredients to anterior chamber tissue and/or posterior chamber tissue of eye is provided. The eye drop platform for delivering active ingredients to anterior chamber tissue and/or posterior chamber tissue of eye includes a delivery composition and a pharmaceutically acceptable solvent for dissolving the delivery composition to form a solution as the eye drop platform for delivering active ingredients to anterior chamber tissue and/or posterior chamber tissue of eye. The delivery composition includes cyclodextrin and/or a derivative thereof, and caffeine. The concentration of the cyclodextrin and/or the derivative thereof in the solution ranges from 5-500 mg/mL, and the concentration of the caffeine in the solution ranges from 0.5-50 mg/mL. The active ingredient is a hydrophilic compound, and the hydrophilic compound has a water solubility greater than 1 mg/mL.
