Abstract

The present disclosure provides a coating apparatus for a separator including a storage unit accommodating a coating solution; a coating roll configured to transfer the coating solution from the storage unit to at least one surface of a substrate being transferred in a direction; and a modular blade unit configured to remove some of the coating solution present on a surface of the coating roll, wherein the modular blade unit includes at least one blade, and the coating roll rotates in a same direction as the transport direction of the substrate.
