Abstract

Provided is a single-blade drill for printed wiring boards that can minimize a remaining whisker burr even when wear remains at a corner of a cutting edge. This single-flute drill for printed wiring boards is configured such that between a first position (P1), which is a position in a margin part (9) that is farthest toward the tip-end side of the drill body (1) and that does not include a flank (10) on a first land part (7) side or a flank (10') on a second land part (8) side, and a second position (P2), which is a position in the margin part (9) that is 0.25 mm toward a drill-body-tip-end side from a drill-body-base-end-side end of the margin part (9), an angle (θ), which is formed by a line connecting a first leading edge (X) and a drill rotation center axis (O) and a line connecting a second leading edge (Y) and the drill rotation center axis (O) on a plane cross section perpendicular to the drill rotation center axis (O), gradually increases from the first position (P1) toward the second position (P2).
