Abstract

A recording device 10 includes a recording section 18 that records on a medium; a head control section 90 that controls the recording section 18; a frame 101 that is located between the recording section 18 and the head control section 90 and that divides an arrangement region of the recording section 18 from an arrangement region of the head control section 90; and a first cable 111 electrically coupling the recording section 18 and the head control section 90, wherein the head control section 90 is attached to the frame 101, the head control section 90 includes a first board 91 and a second board 92, and the first board 91 and the second board 92 are arranged such that at least part of a face 93 of the first board 91 and of a face 93 of the second board 92 face each other.
