Abstract
An anode material and a battery provided. The anode material includes artificial graphite, and there are pores inside and/or on surface of the artificial graphite. The anode material has an oil absorption value of O mL/100g, a pore volume of V cm<3>/kg, and a specific surface area of S m<2>/g, where 400 ≤ O*V*S ≤ 1500, 43 ≤O≤ 60, 5 ≤V≤ 8, and 1.78 ≤ S ≤ 3.0. The anode material improves adsorption and infiltration performance of the anode material to electrolyte, and enhance high rate charge-discharge performance of the anode material, without affecting processing performance.
