Abstract
Provided is a method for producing niobate particles having excellent productivity. The production method provides niobate particles having high crystallinity. The niobate particles include a crystal structure of niobate represented by K<sub>x</sub>Na<sub>(1-x)</sub>NbO<sub>3</sub> (wherein 0 ≤ x ≤ 1), and the crystal structure has an average crystallite size of 80 nm or more, determined from a peak at 2θ = 23.0 ± 1.0°, of the niobate obtained from an X-ray diffraction measurement. The crystal structure preferably includes a perovskite crystal structure.
