Abstract

Provided is a composite material containing: a thermoplastic resin; and continuous fibers, in which fibers constituting the continuous fibers contain at least a group of fibers aligned along a first fiber direction which runs along a single direction, and in which a surface kurtosis (Rku) in a direction intersecting the first fiber direction, on at least one main surface among a first main surface and a second main surface of the composite material, is 3.0 or more.
