Abstract
A pretreatment liquid to be applied to a fabric in a region including an ink ejection region before an ink containing a pigment is ejected, the pretreatment liquid containing a resin, in which a product obtained by centrifuging the pretreatment liquid to separate an upper layer component and lower layer component and then drying the upper layer component has a storage modulus (G') at 25°C of 95 kPa or less and a storage modulus (G') at 160°C of 47 kPa or less.
