Abstract

A present disclosure refers to a hub (1) for a rotor (110) of a wind turbine (100), comprising a hub body (2) with a first flange (3) configured for attaching the hub body to a rotor shaft of the wind turbine and with at least one second flange (5) configured for supporting a rotor blade, the at least one second flange defining a second flange area (6) of the hub body, further comprising at least two stiffening elements (7) extending within at least a portion of the second flange area each stiffening element adjoining the hub body at at least two joints (8), wherein each stiffening element extends in a length direction with reference to an extension direction (S-S) of the rotor shaft.
