Abstract
The present invention relates to a cooking fume extractor hood which allows purified air to be blown into the room in which the hood is located, without recirculating said air in the vicinity of the hood and without forming an air curtain which prevents the cooking fumes from diffusing when they rise towards the hood. The cooking fume extractor hood comprises an air purification system ( 3) for purifying all the fumes entering the extractor hood and an air extraction system (3) for extracting air to the room in which said hood is located once the fumes have been purified.
