Abstract

Provided is an air purifier that can stably maintain air purification efficiency regardless of the direction in which an air inlet faces. An air purifier 1 includes a fan unit 5 and a support 3. The fan unit 5 at least includes a first housing 50 having a first wall surface 50U provided with a first inlet 55 and a second wall surface provided with an outlet for discharging air, and a fan that draws in air. The support 3 rotatably supports the fan unit about a first axis. The first wall surface 50U is located at a position intersecting a second axis that is an imaginary line orthogonal to the first axis. When a direction that is parallel to the second axis and extends from the first wall surface 50U toward the fan is defined as a specific direction and the first inlet 55 is entirely located above the fan in a vertical direction, the first inlet 55 is located at the most upstream position of the air purifier 1 in the specific direction.
