Abstract

A battery diagnostic device according to an embodiment disclosed herein may include an interface configured to acquire state data including a current value and a voltage value of a battery cell for each diagnostic cycle corresponding to a charge cycle or a discharge cycle and a controller configured to calculate a similarity between current data including the current value and reference data, extract first current data having the similarity exceeding the reference value in the current data, and diagnose the battery cell for abnormalities based on a first voltage value corresponding to the first current data.
