Abstract

Disclosed is a method (300) and a system (100) for generation of a Continuous Function Chart (CFC). The method (300) includes receiving a Single Line Diagram (SLD) associated with one or more substations (160a, 160b, 160n). The SLD comprises a plurality of topology equipments. Further, the method (300) includes identifying a category associated with each topology equipment of the plurality of topology equipments, in the SLD. Furthermore, the method (300) includes determining a set of operational rules corresponding to the identified category of each topology equipment. Moreover, the method (300) includes generating the CFC corresponding to the each topology equipment based on the determined set of operational rules.
