Abstract

This application provides an electronic device, including a first housing, a second housing, and a rotation mechanism. The rotation mechanism includes a middle beam, a first rotation portion, a second rotation portion, and a door panel assembly. An end of the first rotation portion is rotatably connected to the middle beam, and another end of the first rotation portion extends into the first housing and is connected to the first housing. An end of the second rotation portion is rotatably connected to the middle beam, and another end of the second rotation portion extends into the second housing and is connected to the second housing. The door panel assembly includes a middle door panel, a first door panel, and a second door panel. The middle door panel is connected to the middle beam, the first door panel is fixedly connected to the first rotation portion and is slidably connected to the first housing, an end of the first door panel away from the middle door panel is located in the first housing, the second door panel is fixedly connected to the second rotation portion and is slidably connected to the second housing, and an end of the second door panel away from the middle door panel is located in the second housing. When the first housing and the second housing are unfolded relative to each other, at least a part of the middle door panel is arranged on a same layer as a first rear cover of the first housing and a second rear cover of the second housing. The technical solutions of this application can enhance strength of the middle beam.
