Abstract

This application relates to the field of terminal technologies, and provides an always-on screen display method, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: receiving a first operation inputted by a user on a theme selection interface; selecting a first theme in response to the first operation, where the first theme corresponds to a first configuration file and a first resource package, the first configuration file includes at least a first configuration item, and the first configuration item indicates whether the first theme supports a full-screen AOD mode; receiving a second operation performed by the user in an unlocked state, where the second operation is a screen-off operation; playing a first screen-off animation in response to the second operation; and after the playing of the first screen-off animation is completed, entering the full-screen AOD mode in response to a current configuration value of the first configuration item being that the first theme supports the full-screen AOD mode. The foregoing method can improve user experience.
