Abstract

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to resource allocation in a vehicle. According to embodiments, a method for allocating hardware resources in a vehicle may include: receiving, by a processor (502), information associated with a current operational mode of the vehicle, the current operational mode may be one of a plurality of predetermined operational modes; receiving, by the processor (502), a resource profile (200, 300), wherein the resource profile (200, 300) may include predefined mappings of the plurality of predetermined operational modes and a parameter for allocating at least one resource; and outputting, by the processor (502), information for allocating the at least one resource to at least one application (130) associated based on the current operational mode and the resource profile (200, 300).
