Abstract

According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a silicon-carbon-containing electrode material, a method for manufacturing the same, and a secondary battery including the same are provided. The silicon-carbon-containing electrode material includes a porous carbon structure; a silicon-containing coating disposed on the porous carbon structure; and a carbon-containing coating disposed on the silicon-containing coating. The electrode material has a color difference (ΔE*) of 5.0 to 19.0 and a Raman intensity ratio (R) of 0.5 to 2.0.
