Abstract
A positive electrode active material, a secondary battery, and an electric device. The positive electrode active material includes a secondary particle agglomerated by primary particles. In the SEM image of cross-section of the secondary particle, the number of grain boundaries per unit cross-sectional area is α line/µm<sup>2</sup>, the length of grain boundaries per unit cross-sectional area is β µm/µm<sup>2</sup>, and the secondary particle satisfies: 0.15 ≤ β/α ≤ 0.4. By adjusting the number of grain boundaries and length of grain boundaries, the stress release ability of material structure is enhanced, the oxygen stability of material is improved, and the cycle life of secondary battery is further extended and the performance of gas production and kinetic properties are improved.
