Abstract
The present invention relates to a positive electrode material comprising a first positive electrode active material having a secondary particle form in which a plurality of primary particles are aggregated, comprising nickel, cobalt and manganese, containing nickel in an amount of 70 mol% or more among total metals, and having a first average particle diameter (D<sub>50</sub>), and a second positive electrode active material having a second average particle diameter (D<sub>50</sub>) different from the first average particle diameter (D<sub>50</sub>), wherein the first positive electrode active material has an average aspect ratio, which is an arithmetic mean value of an aspect ratio defined by Equation 1, of 0.86 to 0.94, and an average compactness, which is an arithmetic mean value of a compactness defined by Equation 2, of 0.89 to 0.96. Aspectratio=ra/RCompactness=rc/RIn Equations 1 and 2, R is a length of a long axis passing through the center of the first positive electrode active material particle, r<sub>a</sub> is a length of a short axis passing through the center of the first positive electrode active material particle, and r<sub>c</sub> is a diameter of a circle having the same area as the area of the first positive electrode active material.
