Abstract
The present invention relates to a positive electrode active material including nickel among total metals excluding lithium in an amount of 80 mol% or more, and at least one doping element, wherein the at least one doping element has an average value of a first doping uniformity index, which is defined by Equation 1 and measured for each individual doping element, of 16% or less, andhaving a particle strength of 121 MPa or more. Firstdopinguniformityindex=NSD/Navgwherein, in Equation 1, [N<sub>SD</sub>] is a standard deviation val ue of a molar ratio of the individual doping element to manga nese (Mn) in the entire positive electrode active material, a nd [N<sub>avg</sub>] is an average value of the molar ratio of the indivi dual doping element to the Mn in the entire positive electrod e active material.
