Abstract

A cell tracking method executed by a cell tracking system including a sensor subsystem (110,130) and a signal processing subsystem, the method comprising:detecting, by the sensor subsystem (110), a semifinished cell (306) on a process line (300);generating, by the signal processing subsystem, a virtual identification, ID, for the detected semifinished cell (306) upon detection of the semifinished cell (306);acquiring a cell ID of the semifinished cell (306) by detecting, by the sensor subsystem (130), a code object formed on the semifinished cell (306); andmatching, by means of the signal processing subsystem, the virtual ID and the cell ID.
