Abstract
The present disclosure provides a battery including: a battery housing having a side wall, a bottom portion connected to one axial end of the side wall, and an open end provided at the other axial end of the side wall; an electrode assembly having a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator interposed therebetween, which are wound around a winding axis, and accommodated inside the battery housing so that a tab of the second electrode is directed to the open end; and a lid configured to cover the open end and coupled to the battery housing, wherein an abutment portion is formed on a portion of an inner surface of the other axial end of the side wall, and wherein an outer circumferential surface of the lid and the abutment portion are coupled to each other.
