Abstract
A secondary battery according to an embodiment of this specification includes an electrode assembly, an exterior film having an inner space, in which the electrode assembly is accommodated, and an exterior opening, through which the inner space communicates with the outside, a cover member configured to cover the exterior opening of the exterior film, and a gasket member disposed between the cover member and the exterior film, wherein the gasket member is provided with a plurality of cover sealing parts that are in contact with the exterior film, and the exterior film is provided with a film sealing part on any one surface of surfaces perpendicular to the exterior opening, wherein I<DV> defined as a factor is 0.5 or more. The secondary battery may induce the ventilation direction to ensure safety.
