Abstract
A secondary battery according to the present disclosure includes a first electrode, a second electrode, the first electrode and the second electrode being stacked in an alternating manner along a stack direction, and a separator configured to separate the first electrode from the second electrode, wherein the separator includes a first separator portion located between the first electrode and the second electrode, a second separator portion located opposite the first separator portion with respect to the first electrode, and a connection portion connecting the first separator portion to the second separator portion and covering an end portion of the first electrode, and wherein the connection portion has a gas vent hole having a larger length in a length direction parallel to an extension direction of the end portion of the first electrode than a width, the gas vent hole having a rounded corner.
