Abstract

A surge protective device (SPD) module for mounting on a busbar includes a busbar terminal contact, an overvoltage clamping element and a feed terminal. The busbar terminal contact is configured to electrically connect the SPD module to the busbar. The feed terminal is configured to electrically connect a feed cable to the SPD module. The overvoltage clamping element and the feed terminal are both electrically connected to the busbar by the busbar terminal contact when the SPD module is mounted on the busbar.
