Abstract
An energy storage system according to an embodiment disclosed herein may include an interface configured to receive charging information about a battery and an electric power supply request from a plurality of charging devices and a controller configured to control electric power supply to a target battery connected to a target charging device based on an electric power supply request received from the target charging device among the plurality of charging devices and perform processing for redistributing electric power to be supplied to the target battery to batteries connected to respective ones of one or more other charging devices other than the target charging device among the plurality of charging devices, based on charging information about the target battery connected to the target charging device.
