Abstract
A method for wireless communication, a terminal device and a network device are provided. The method comprises: the terminal device transmits first information to the network device, where the first information is used to indicate one or more models, the model description information and/or model data associated with each of the one or more models satisfies the one or more constraints contained in the auxiliary information provided by the network device; and/or the first information is used to indicate whether the terminal device has model(s) for implementing one or more model functions, and the terminal device determines whether the terminal device has the model(s) for implementing one or more model functions based on the one or more constraints contained in the auxiliary information provided by the network device. This helps to avoid the terminal device providing invalid model information to the network device, saves the overhead of information reporting by the terminal device, and also prevents the network device from configuring the terminal device based on inapplicable model information, which would cause degradation of communication performance.
