Abstract

A light emitting display device includes a substrate (100), a plurality of pixels, a first planarization layer (PL1), a second planarization layer 8PL2), an anode electrode (ANO), an emission layer (EL) and a cathode electrode (CAT). The plurality of pixels is arranged on the substrate (110). Each pixel has an emission area (EA) and a non-emission area (NEA). The first planarization layer (PL1) is disposed at the non-emission area (NEA) with a first refractive index on the substrate (110). The second planarization layer (PL2) is disposed at the emission area (EA) with a second refractive index higher than the first refractive index. The second planarization layer (PL2) is extruded upward from the first planarization layer (PL1). The anode electrode (ANO) is disposed on the second planarization layer (PL2) within the emission area (EA). The emission layer (EL) is disposed on the anode electrode (ANO) , the first planarization layer (PL1) and the second planarization layer (PL2). The cathode electrode (CAT) is disposed on the emission layer (EL).
