Abstract

The present invention relates to a nicotine pouch comprising a filler and a packaging material surrounding the filler, the filler comprising: nicotine; a release control excipient including at least one selected from the group consisting of cellulose and a sugar alcohol; a binder; a pH adjuster; and a flavoring, wherein the content of nicotine in the filler is 2.5-10 wt% with respect to the total solid content of the filler, the content of the release control excipient in the filler is 5.5-36 times that of nicotine, and the packaging material comprises at least two selected from the group consisting of pulp, a cellulose-based staple fiber, and a thermoplastic fiber.
