Abstract
A method for measuring biological signals, such as oxygen saturation levels in the blood, using optical sensors. The method is based on computing a biological signal using a plurality of optical signals, the plurality of optical signals acquired across multiple ray paths through the tissue. In some embodiments, the optical signals of the group are acquired simultaneously, and each optical signal in the group corresponds to a different spatial ray path through the tissue of the subject from at least one optical source to at least one optical detector.
