Abstract

An active oxygen treatment device capable of more reliably treating a surface of a substance to be treated with active oxygen. An active oxygen treatment device includes: an ozone UFB-containing liquid producing section that produces an ozone UFB-containing liquid in which UFBs including ozone are contained in a liquid; a first reservoir section that stores the ozone UFB-containing liquid; an energy application device that applies energy necessary to decompose at least a part of the ozone included in the UFBs into active oxygen to the ozone UFB-containing liquid in a stored state in the first reservoir section and decomposes at least a part of the ozone into the active oxygen; and an active oxygen UFB-containing liquid supply device that supplies, to a substance to be treated, an active oxygen UFB-containing liquid that has been generated in the first reservoir section by decomposing at least a part of the ozone in the UFBs into the active oxygen through the application of the energy, the UFBs including the active oxygen being contained in a liquid in the active oxygen UFB-containing liquid.
