Abstract
Provided are a carbon dioxide absorbent comprising an amine compound (A) represented by the following general formula (1), a method for capturing carbon dioxide using the carbon dioxide absorbent, and a carbon dioxide separation and capture apparatus: H<2>N-(CH<2>)<m>-X-(CH<2>)<n>-NHR<1> (1) wherein X is a phenylene group or a cyclohexylene group, R<1> is a hydrocarbon group having 2 to 12 carbon atoms and optionally having a hydroxy group, and m and n are each independently a number of 1 to 6.
