Abstract
One embodiment of the present invention provides a chromatography carrier which includes a base carrier that includes porous particles, and a ligand that is immobilized on the base carrier. The ligand is a polyallylamine represented by formula (1), or a polyallylamine, in which some amino groups are modified, or a salt thereof. (1): -NH-Z-X (In formula (1), Z represents a divalent hydrophobic group, and X represents NH<sub>2</sub> or a heterocyclic group that contains a nitrogen atom.) The ligand is immobilized on the base carrier via one or more kinds of active groups that are reactive to the ligand.
