Abstract

A composite material assembly (20) comprises at least one composite material assembly member (22, 24, 26) comprising a dry fiber material impregnated with an epoxy resin-containing material. Said at least one assembly member (22, 24, 26) comprises a first side (22a, 24a, 26a); a second side (22b, 24b, 26b); and a longitudinal radius filler cavity (28) bounded by the second side (22b, 24b, 26b), said cavity (28) comprising a cavity radius. The composite material assembly (20) further comprises a tailorable composite material longitudinal radius filler (30) positioned within the cavity (28), said radius filler (30) comprising a radius dimensioned to substantially match the cavity radius, said radius filler (30) comprising a recycled dry fiber material (40) impregnated with the epoxy resin-containing material (42).
