Abstract
The present invention provides a printing device with which easy device maintenance is possible. The printing device includes: a table having a placement surface on which food is placed; a carriage on which a head for discharging edible ink toward the food is mounted and which can move in a main scanning direction with respect to the table; and a carriage drive part which has a guide bar arranged along the main scanning direction and guiding the carriage, a movable part movable along the guide bar and connected to the carriage, and a drive source for moving the movable part in the main scanning direction. The carriage can be attached to and detached from the movable part.
