Abstract

The present invention relates to: (i) an inkjet head cleaning composition containing a solvent (A) and water, in which the solvent (A) has a dipole moment of 5.0 D or more at 25°C, as determined by a density functional theory, and the water content is 30% by mass or more; (ii) use of a cleaning composition containing a solvent (A) and water as an inkjet head cleaning agent, in which the solvent (A) has a dipole moment of 5.0 D or more at 25°C, as determined by a density functional theory, and the water content is 30% by mass or more; and (iii) a method for cleaning an inkjet head by using a cleaning composition containing a solvent (A) and water, in which the solvent (A) has a dipole moment of 5.0 D or more at 25°C, as determined by a density functional theory, and the water content is 30% by mass or more.
